Becky and Jared were married this past saturday on a gorgeous spring day! The wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Scottish Rite in Hamilton. This venue always provides a wonderful backdrop to a wedding, full of old world charm and elegance. Becky and Jared make a lovely couple and it was a pleasure being a part of their wedding day :)

Beautiful pictures, but your page comes up when you search reviews for this place so I must add:
DO NOT book any special event here! It took 2 weeks to get an initial response, which was generic at best and didn’t provide any type of package attachment, pricing, menus, etc. And then the manager only responded again to my inquiry for a tour/additional information after I pushed TWICE. Her second response took over THREE MORE WEEKS to respond that they’re busy. I guess they don’t value/need your business. AVOID THE HASSEL! If they’re this bad before they even get your deposit, what will it be like after?! Beautiful place, terrible business.
When the thought popped into our heads about booking the Scottish Rite as our wedding venue, we were very excited. I emailed the manager right away. While I will admit that her response did take a bit longer than I would have liked (persistence does pay off), I did find her quite helpful and willing to offer more details than I even asked for. She was willing to setup a viewing of the place that same weekend. Just a couple days after speaking to her I got an email from the wedding coordinator too. We view the Scottish Rite this weekend... So far so good :)
